Quests: "Cloth and Leather Armor," "Wanted: James Clark," "Fine Linen Goods," and "The Collector," and New Quests: "Manhunt," "A Bundle of Trouble," and "Hero's Call: Westfall!"
_ When you turn in the Quests "Bounty for
Murlocs" and "Report to Thomas" to Guard Thomas, you'll receive your choice of a new weapon (your best choice would be the Well-Used Greatsword), and a
new Quest: "Cloth and Leather Armor." For this Quest, you simply take
a Stormwind Armor Marker to Sara Timberlain at Eastvale Logging Camp and redeem
it for a new piece of armor. Despite the Quest's title, you don't only have
Cloth and Leather armor to choose from; you can also select a set of Mail wrist
armor (Studded Arm Protector).
_ After you claim your new piece of armor from Sara
Timberlain, she gives you a new Quest. (Sensing a pattern yet?) In Sara's Quest--"Fine Linen
Goods"--she asks you to gather 6 Linen Scraps from the thugs in Elwynn Forest
and then bring them back to her so she can make you a new belt. You'll be able
to choose from a Cloth, Leather, or Mail belt, and you'll also get a Red Linen
Shirt to go with it! The shirt doesn't really do anything; you can wear it for
fun, or sell it to a Vendor if you want. Some of the thugs Sara mentions can be found
to the southwest, at the Brackwell Pumpkin Patch. You should now have reached Level 9, and learned a new Stance for your Warrior. Stances slightly adjust your Warrior's offensive and defensive capabilities for different combat situations, and you can switch Stances at any time, even during combat. Until now, you've only had access to Battle Stance, which is a balanced, general-purpose stance. Defensive Stance allows you to withstand more damage, and makes your attacks hold enemies' attention better; this Stance is meant to be used when you are functioning as a "tank" in a Party. "Tank" players in Parties hold the attention of enemies on them, so that other players in the Party can cause damage without being attacked themselves.
Before you head that way, talk to one of the nearby Vendors (Rallic Finn, for example; he's on the far side of the Camp from Sara, standing next to an archery target). Sell off any unwanted loot (your bags should be pretty full by now, even if you have picked up more bags from enemies), and then make your way back to the house near Sara's to kill the fugitive James Clark. Once Clark is dead, loot his head from his body. When you do, you'll also pick up an item labeled as "Gold Pickup Schedule" which has a Quest exclamation point in its icon. Right-click on the icon, and it will give you the Quest "The Collector," in which you have to inform Marshal McCree about a gold smuggling operation taking place at the Brackwell Pumpkin Patch. Take the schedule over to Marshal McCree at the center of camp, along with James Clark's head for the "Wanted: James Clark" Quest.
Marshal McCree gives you new orders. You are to head to Brackwell Pumpkin Patch to the southwest, kill The Collector, and bring his Collector's Ring back to Marshal McCree for the "Manhunt" Quest. You can also speak to Marshal McCree about picking up the Quest "Hero's Call: Westfall," in which you will head to the nearby Zone of Westfall and speak to Lieutenant Horatio Laine at the Jansen Stead. Accept that Quest, but don't head to Westfall just yet.
Next, speak to Supervisor Raelen nearby; she will give you the Quest "A Bundle of Trouble." In this Quest, Raelen needs you to go into the forest just north of Camp, and gather 8 Bundles of Wood that her workers left behind when wolves and bears chased them away. Gather the wood (it shouldn't take long), and turn this Quest in to Raelen.
Now, head to Brackwell Pumpkin Patch for "Manhunt" and "Fine Linen Goods." You should find plenty of Bandits wandering around that you can gather 6 Linen Scraps from. Once you have enough, head to the house on the east side of the Pumpkin Patch, where Morgan the Collector is waiting. Be careful; there are two other hostile NPCs--Surena Caledon and Erlan Drudgemoor--in the house with him! (This fight may take a couple tries.) Once you've killed at least Morgan the Collector and looted The Collector's Ring from him, head back to Eastvale Logging Camp and turn your Quests in to Marshal McCree and Sara Timberlain.
Don't forget to equip the Collecting Bag you got as a Quest reward! If you don't have an empty spot to equip another bag, empty one of your smaller bags, then drag its icon into one of your other bags. Then, drag the Collecting Bag to the slot where your smaller bag was.
